Have something you want to see featured in a future 3-Bet? Let us know in the comments.

Today in the 3-Bet we find Jason Mercier doubling up on 2015 SCOOP titles, Calvin Anderson taking over as all-time SCOOP leader and the Revel Casino in Atlantic City getting, well, weirder.

1) Mercier Binks 2nd SCOOP in 2 Nights

Jason Mercier
Primed for Mixed-Game gold this summer.

It never hurts to head into the World Series of Poker on a bit of a high note.

Not that Jason Mercier needs an added boost to his confidence, but he should feel pretty solid about his last couple of days on the online felt.

After grabbing his first Badugi title (and 2nd SCOOP title) on Monday Mercier dove right back in to the winners pool with another win in SCOOP 08-H, $2k NL Draw.

He's not making huge bank in these pro-packed, small field events as his two wins combined earned him "just" $75k.

But as far as tune-ups for the bracelet-friendly mixed-game events at the WSOP go, it couldn't be a better sign Mercier's dialed in and ready to make some trademark deep runs this summer.

Check the full rundown on Mercier's back-to-back titles from the PokerStars blog here.

2) Anderson Claims Sixth SCOOP Title

Sticking with the SCOOP for a moment, yet another spectacular final table played out last night with perhaps one of the toughest final tables yet.

Calvin Anderson
King of SCOOPs

Given the pro-littered leaderboards and trophy winners already this year that's really saying something.

SCOOP 13-H $2,100 Stud played out last night with the final four made up of straight-up crushers in Shaun Deeb, Andrey "Kroko-dill" Zaichenko, Dan "djk123" Kelly and Calvin "cal42688" Anderson.

Coming into it Deeb was tied with Anderson for the all-time SCOOP lead with 5 titles but coming out of it he's now one behind as Anderson bagged the title and $36k.

As far as pure grinders go it's hard to think of anyone on Anderson's level over the past five years or so.

A WSOP bracelet for him is a pretty safe bet this summer, too. Full rundown of Event #13 here.

3) IVs and Hormone Therapy at the Poker Table?

We don't want to give too much away here to ruin the surprise (although the header above is a pretty good hint), things are really starting to get odd at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City.

I'll take a hormone replacement syringe and potassium IV, please.

If you're an East Coaster and followed the Revel saga at all it's already taken its fair share of construction u-turns, political sidesteps and painful bankruptcies.

It just jumped to the next level with the introduction of industrialist, pony lover and life-extension die-hard Glenn Straub, though.

This piece from Blooomberg does a far better job of explaining it then we over could so just head there now and give it a read.

If they can make some of those cryogenic options available at the poker tables, though, we're getting our names on the seat list asap.
