Over the weekend the PokerStars Makes Millionaires promo found two more winners, one a professor in Bulgaria and the other a factory worker in Taiwan.
In the first final, which saw six players battle it out in six-player Sit & Go for $1 million, it was the Bulgarian citoject who outlasted his competition and then survived a pressure-filled heads-up battle against an opponent from Germany.
According to PokerStars the only person that citoject has told about his big win is his wife. That means citoject’s University Colleagues have no idea they are working with a newly minted millionaire.
Factory Worker Keeping Job Despite $1m Win
It’s much the same for Taiwan’s Juanyi Lin who plays on PokerStars as JUANYI828. She won the second Millionaire Final this weekend for $1m.
Thanks to some power moves during three-handed play Lin had a massive chip lead heads-up and easily defeated her Russian opponent Galonder.
Lin works at a Taiwanese factory that constructs TFT and LCD televisions.
What did Lin do after she won? She went right back to her job at the television factory. She has no intention of quitting either.
She says she’ll use some of the money to go on a vacation with her husband and will use another portion to pay off her mortgage.
As the PokerStars Makes Millionaires promo nears its end there have already been numerous $1m winners.
