Kanit outlasted 1,260 entries in the $1,000 single re-entry event to claim first place.
The event easily surpassed the $1 million guarantee with the prize pool eventually reaching $1.19 million.
Dan Smith, who plays on Full Tilt as KingDan23, ended up finishing in 17th place for $6,943.
Justin Bonomo and Mike Sowers also cashed in the tournament.

Originally from Sliema, Italy, Kanit now resides in London. With the victory in FTOPS XXVIII he more than doubled his lifetime winnings on FTP.
He’s much more well known for his "lasagnaaammm" account on PokerStars where he has accumulated more than $2.3 million in winnings.
Mike “GoLeafsGoEh” Leah ended up taking FTOPS XXVIII Player of the Series with a total of 5,355 points.
Liviu “p00cket00” Ignat, who made a deep run in EPT Malta before finishing 35th for $18,498, ended up finishing runner-up to Leah with 4,285 points.
With high-stakes series done for awhile on Full Tilt, the site will host MiniFTOPS XXVIII from April 19-May 3, which will culminate with a $300 buy-in $300k-guaranteed main event.
