Trickett, who just returned from a disappointing tour of duty in Macau, had only been playing $100/$200 6-Max PLO on PokerStars for little over an hour when this blockbuster $118k pot transpired.

It was a full game with tr1cky7 ($28,385), Jeans89 ($49,765), Ilari FIN ($48,460), refaelamit ($21,960), doncarignano ($43,871) and 1-ronnyr3 ($103,649) sitting.

Trickett had the button and doncarignano opened the betting for $400 from early position. Trickett called from the button, as did Jean89 from the small blind, but Sahamies 3-bet to $2,240 from the big blind.

Doncarignano, tr1cky7 and Jeans89 decided to come along for the ride and that brought a K J 6 flop with $8,960 already in the pot.

Jeans89 checked but Ilari Sahamies made a continuation bet of $7,600. Doncarignano fired back for $31,995, tr1cky7 called all-in for $26,105, Jeans89 folded and Sahamies over-shoved for $46,180, prompting an easy call from doncarignano for his last $9,636.

With $118k in the pot the cards were on their backs:

Ilari FIN: K Q Q T

Tr1cky7: A K J 8

Doncarignano: A Q J T

Despite the massive amount of draws, Trickett’s two-pair with kings and jacks was in the lead.

That all changed when the turn brought the 9 completing both Sahamies’ and doncarignano’s king-high straights.

The board paired on the river with the 9 but that changed nothing and Ilari FIN and doncarignano chopped it up, leaving Trickett as the only real loser in the hand.

Fortunately for Trickett he was able to post a huge comeback and actually ended up winning just under $5k.

In was another story for Ilari Sahamies who ended up being the big loser in the high stakes games last night as he lost a total of $211k in 417 hands.

On the other hand doncarignano made the most of the massive pot and was the second biggest winner on the night with $119k.

Fellow 6-Max player 1-ronnyr3 was the biggest overall winner with $140k in profit.
