Aria released a plethora of information this week about the tournament through its new website, superhighroller.com, that included an estimated prize pool of $25 million.
In addition to details about the $500k Super High Roller Aria also announced it plans to run a celebrity shootout and high-stakes cash game.
The event will run June 27-July 4, 2015, with the $500k Super High Roller set to take place July 2-4.
Dwan and Cates in particular have an interesting ongoing subplot due to their outstanding disagreement over the unfinished Durrrr Challenge.

The Super High Roller Bowl’s estimated prize pool of $25 million is based on the event attracting 50 players. With 50 players first place in the tournament would award $8.2 million.
There are already 31 players on the event’s website including Antonio Esfandiari, David “Doc” Sands, Joe Cheong, Scott Seiver, Tom Hall, Andrew Robl, Andrew Lichtenberger, Brian Rast, Dan Smith, Doug Polk, Dan Colman, Erik Seidel and more.
Businessmen Cary Katz, Roger Sippl and Paul Newey also intend to play. More players will be announced over the coming months.
The entire event will take place at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
