Coren-Mitchell scooped three separate awards for Poker Personality of the Year, Best Social Media User and Performance of the Year.
The award ceremony, sponsored by Bluff Europe, was held earlier tonight at the Hippodrome Casino in London.
For those keeping track at home Coren-Mitchell became the first poker player to secure two European Poker Tour titles by winning EPT San Remo in 2014.
It wasn’t just at the poker table that Coren-Mitchell made headlines, however, as she left longtime sponsor PokerStars over a difference in opinion about casino games.
The relationship is still cordial, though, as Coren-Mitchell also made it to the final table of PokerStars’ new show Shark Cage and narrowly missed out on a $1 million first-place prize.
Daniel Negreanu Takes Best International Player
Daniel “Kid Poker” Negreanu isn’t English but that didn’t stop him from taking at least one award at the BPAs with a win in the “International” category.
Liv Boeree happily accepted the award for Negreanu and even joked that she was going to keep it.
