Over the next ten days poker players from all over the world will compete in 35 different poker events with buy-ins ranging from $600 all the way up to $100,000.

Over 400 players are already confirmed for the $10,000 Main Event and 30 have signed up for the six-figure Super High Roller.

Celebs and sports stars competing this year include UFC fighter Tito Ortiz, PGA golfer Sergio Garcia, football legend Ronaldo Nazario and TV sitcom star Jason Alexander.

PokerStars will also begin taping the second season of its new televised game show Shark Cage on location at Atlantis in the Bahamas.

“PCA 2015 introduces the novelty of the Double Bubble format in some side events, as well as the joint effort of LAPT season 8 with PCA, and the shooting of Shark Cage season 2,” said David Carrion, PCA Director.

“All this together provides for an exciting kick-off of the 2015 poker season and another opportunity to celebrate poker at its highest standards in a dream location. I can’t believe it is going to be the 12th edition of the PCA; all of us are looking forward to it!”

Negreanu, Colman Headline Huge $100k Super High Roller

Headlining the roster is poker's leading all-time money winner Daniel Negreanu. Last summer Negreanu finished second in the $1 million Big One for One Drop at the World Series of poker, taking his live tournament earnings to over $29 million.

Dan Colman, who defeated Negreanu heads-up in the Big One, is also on the list, along with a slew of other big names including Vanessa Selbst, Erik Seidel, Ike Haxton and Jason Koon.

Throwing their hats in the ring representing the wealthy amateurs are UK businessmen Talal Shakerchi and Paul Newey, and Americans Bill Perkins and Roger Sippl.

400 Confirmed for 2015 PCA Main Event

The $10,000 PCA Main Event has been one of the biggest poker tournaments in the world for years and 400 players are already confirmed for this year's contest.

That includes 330 players who qualified online through PokerStars.

Last year Polish young-gun Dominik Panka defeated Canadian Mike McDonald to take the PCA Main Event title and over $1.4 million.

In 2014 the Main Event prize pool tipped the scales at over $10 million and expectations are high for a similar turnout this year.
