The site, which already appears to be in beta and counts "1,011" players, is set to officially debut in January with Bitcoin the only currency accepted.
Mizrachi enlisted Mike “The Mouth” Matusow, Luis Velador and his brothers to represent the site.
The site will offer No-Limit Hold’em and PLO but interestingly Mizrachi has mentioned there will be a variety of other games including Badeuci, Badugi and Deuce to Seven, which is more unusual for a small site.
Security also appears to be a prime focus of Get Lucky Poker and the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, ECOGRA and GPWA logos are all presented on the site.
Bitcoin Poker Market Steadily Gaining Momentum
Get Lucky Poker is hardly the only Bitcoin poker site with Bryan Micon’s SealsWithClubs arguably the most popular site currently.
There’s also Breakout Gaming, which utilizes its own alt-currency and boasts a roster of old school pros including Todd Brunson and Johnny Chan.
The site has yet to launch.
The advantage of Bitcoin poker sites is that you can play completely anonymously and because there’s no actual "cash" involved you can play almost anywhere in the world including the USA.
Get Lucky Poker will offer a full downloadable client for Windows machines but will also be available in an HTML5 browser form for OSX and mobile users.
