British poker superstar Sam Trickett couldn’t actually be at the 2014 Joe Hachem and Shane Warne charity but he sent a whole team to represent him in the event.
Trickett bought an entire table of models into the charity event, which is a significant contribution considering each woman’s buy-in cost $1,000.
The charity event also included the entire 888poker team including Shane Warne, Jackie Glazier, Xuan Liu, Jesse Sylvia, Russell Thomas and the rest of the gang.
All the proceeds from the event go towards the Shane Warne Foundation, which helps enrich the lives of seriously ill or underprivileged children around Australia.
The winner will receive a seat into the A$10k buy-in 2014 WSOP APAC Main Event.
2) Event 8 $5,000 8-Game Draws Less Than 50
The numbers have been down at the 2014 WSOP APAC but Event 8: A$5,000 8-Game might end up being one of the smallest non-Big One WSOP events ever played
As of Level 8 only 42 players had signed up for the mix-game event with Daniel Negreanu, Stuart Rutter, Jeff Gross, Brian Rast, Brandon Shack-Harris and George Danzer in the field.

3) Phil Hellmuth Tries to Bring Some 2011 Magic to Final Table
Phil Hellmuth made his 52nd WSOP final table earlier today and tomorrow he’ll attempt to win his record-setting 14th WSOP bracelet.
