Long a "poker only" destination before the handover of the company to gaming giant Amaya, the first real-money casino games on the PokerStars client were officially rolled out in Spain this week.
For now only found on PokerStars.es, players can access real-money Blackjack and Roulette via a "Casino" tab separate from the online poker lobby.
Various forms of both table games are available at varying stakes.
“We know that many of our customers are enjoying online casino games on competing platforms," President of Southern Europe for PokerStars Gino Appiotti said in a release.
"Our offering will enhance their experience with PokerStars and provide a safe, trusted and convenient way for them to be entertained.”
Italy Next, PokerStars.com TBD
Expectations are for the PokerStars casino games to be rolled out in France shortly with other markets - including the main PokerStars.com client - still under consideration.

A "wider rollout" along with the introduction of an in-client sportsbetting option is planned for 2015. When the PokerStars client is allowed to operate in New Jersey it's expected to offer casino games as well.
In the interim the PokerStars.com client has introduced a new lottery-style Sit-and-Go variant this week called "Spin & Gos."
Following in the footsteps of Winamax and iPoker, the new format offers up randomized prize pools of up to 1,000x the buy-in.
Tables are played as three-handed Hyper-Turbos with the winner taking all of the money. The prize, however, is randomized with the payout anywhere from double to 1,000x.
Buy-in options run at $1, $3, $7, $15 and $30, meaning the maximum take in any one Spin & Go is $30,000. Rake at buy-ins over $3 is capped at 4%.
The Spin & Go variant has been available on the Full Tilt client for a few months under the Jackpot Sit & Go label. To sign-up for a PokerStars account and be eligible for our exlcusive freerolls, visit our PokerStars review.
