His fourth seven-figure score of 2014, the $1.44m payday pushed Colman's tourney earnings - spread across only about 15 events - to $21m for the year.

Take away his $15m score for the $1m Big One for One Drop and that still gives him $6m in cashes - an astonishing total in itself for just eight months of poker.

The SHRPO main event was also by far the biggest field he overcame with 1,499 entries.

Colman is now third on poker's all-time money list behind Daniel Negreanu and Antonio Esfandiari and ahead of Phil Ivey.

Leah Runner-Up, Earns First 7-Figure Score

Lost only slightly in the wow factor of Colman's stunning victory was a trio of impressive finishes in their own right.

Impressive performance by Leah overshadowed only by Colman's jaw-dropping run.

Runner-up Mike "goleafsgoeh" Leah, a Team Ivey Poker pro and long-time vet of both the live and online poker scene, collected $1,047,638 for second - by far the biggest score of his career.

His next closest live score  - $319,536 - came all the way back in 2009 in a $1,500 Borgata Deep Stack event.

Former WPT champ Shawn Cunix also surpassed his biggest-ever career score, taking home $748,313 for third, while former November Niner John Dolan earned over half a million with his $548,763 take for fourth.
