Schindler, this year's winner of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure High Roller for $1.1m, battled through an extremely tough final five yesterday to claim his third outright tourney win of the year.
After a bit of confusion over the final prize pool, Schindler collected $570,375 for the win.
Runner-up Ryan Fee, who impressed virtually everyone watching the live stream with his stellar play, took home $307,125.
Third-place finisher Scott Seiver collected $50,000, which was added on by the Seminole Hard Rock after the original dispute over the amount of places to be paid.
Colman Continues Epic 2014, Second at ME FT
Irregardless of the t-shirt controversy at the EPT Barcelona SHR final table Daniel Colman has had a year of poker to remember.
Clik here to view.

The 24-year-old pro, who's confessed to having mixed feelings about poker as a game, should certainly have no mixed feelings about his results in 2014 as he's gone on a run few have seen before.
After winning the 100k Super High Roller at the EPT Grand Final in April for $2.1m Colman famously went on to bag the $15m first-place prize at the $1m Big One for One Drop.
He took third in the Aria $100k High Roller in July for another $880k before finishing runner-up at the EPT Barcelona SHR to pal Olivier Busquet for $1.1m.
Flying immediately back to Florida for the SHRPO Colman was expected to play the $100k event Schindler won but couldn't because, well, he's still alive in the $10m guaranteed main event.
He'll enter the final table of six today second in chips behind only Mike "goleafsgo" Leah. Top prize is $1.4m, which would likely cement Colman's status as the 2014 Player of the Year.
A tough final table awaits him though with Leah and very successful pros Joe Kuether, Martin Hanowski, Shawn Cunix and former November Niner John Dolan. Chip counts and live stream starting at 2 pm ET below.
1. Mike Leah 15,455,000 2. Dan Colman 10,230,000 3. Joe Kuether 7,090,000 4. Martin Hanowski 5,210,000 5. Shawn Cunix 4,870,000 6. John Dolan 2,045,000
