Ivey never really got anything going on Day 4 and finally hit the rail after an ill-timed shove with ace-king on a 9-9-2-2 board was snapped off by John Kabbaj with pocket jacks.

Meanwhile Benger, a former Counter-Strike pro, smashed his way to 2.4 million chips, just shy of chip leader Matthew Haugen’s 2.8 million.

Noted pros Dan Smith (2.3 million), Brian Hastings (2 million), Martin Jacobson (1.5 million), Matt Waxman (1.4 million) and Isaac Baron (1.3 million) are in the top 30 chip counts. A total of 291 players made it through the day.

Three Players Bust on the Money Bubble

Hand for hand

The day began with 746 players desperate to at least make it into the cash, which began at 695 players remaining.

The money bubble proved to be one of the most exciting ones in recent memory with three players busting in hand-for-hand. They were only two spots from the money so all three players chopped the min-payout of $19k.

To sweeten the pot the WSOP also awarded a seat to the 2015 Main Event.

TD Jack Effel simply let all three players draw for high card and Zhen Cai walked away with the seat thanks to drawing the K.

Ronnie Bardah managed to hold on to make his record fifth consecutive cash in the Main Event.

Three-time bracelet winner Jeff Madsen had a scare at the end of the day but managed to survive a pivotal coin flip with T-T against A-K.

Among the players who busted on Day 4 were Olivier Busquet (641st), Angel Guillen (594th), Phil Galfond (528th), Aditya Agarwal (457th), Matthias De Meulder (433rd), Phil Ivey (430th) and Brett Richey (323rd).
