In today’s WSOP 3-Bet we’ll take a look at Daniel Negreanu displaying his heads-up chops, dealers getting some praise and Molly Bloom on Good Morning America.

Negreanu’s Intention is to Win $10k Heads-Up

In the zone.

Daniel Negreanu is quietly putting together a solid WSOP with one runner-up finish, two 10th-place finishes and an 18th but he’s still chasing the all-important seventh gold bracelet.

He just might get it done in the $10k Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship. Negreanu made into the final 16 of the event, which means he’s four heads-up matches away from another WSOP title.

So far Negreanu has knocked off Max Steinberg, Brice Lin and Sylvain Loosli.

Later today (at 1:00 p.m. PT to be exact) Negreanu will face Tommy Chen in his first challenge of the day.

Some of the other big names still in the tournament include Jason Koon, Sam Stein, Erik Seidel and Daniel Colman.

Whatever happens Negreanu has already locked up $26,584 for making the final 16, which would take him up to well over $230k in WSOP earnings this year although the $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop is looming.

Dealing Some Love in Dealer's Choice

It’s not always easy being a dealer and the recent Dealer’s Choice event was one of the tougher events to deal in recent memory at the WSOP.

While it seemed to be a little rocky at first, players seem to be happy with how it all turned out.

Here’s a collection of kind words we extracted from Twitter this morning:

My hats off to the dealers today and the supervisors who trained them. I expected a cluster frack. Virtually no problems at all.. Bravo

This dealers choice event is incredibly fun and running very smoothly - A+

@EricCrain: Agree with everybody saying dealers were A+ in the dealers choice. Well done, @wsop @WSOPTD #wsop”. #100%Agreed

I think the Dealer's Choice tournament is genius and also my favorite event. #WSOP

Molly Bloom Blowing Up in Mainstream Media

Safe to say Molly Bloom’s book about the underground poker game she ran with participants Tobey Maguire, Ben Affleck, Leonardo DiCaprio and others is going to be a runaway success when it hits on June 24.

Bloom has been featured on numerous mainstream media outlets and this morning she even appeared on Good Morning America.

Apparently people DO care about poker as long as it involved numerous A-list celebrities swapping hundreds of thousands.
