Just 66 players remain from the 189 who started the tournament with Frankenberger, after another very productive day to complement his strong Day 1, sitting second in chips with 239,600.
Harder sits in sixth with 194,300 chips despite losing a massive 195k pot in the middle of the day when he ran his aces into Darren Elias’s flopped set of tens.
Within a level Harder was back up to 130k, however, and steadily moved up from there until the end of the day.
Dan Colpoys, who has won almost $2 million online under the aliases “APowers1968” and “LeonP,” leads the chip counts heading into Day 3 with 246,000.
Rounding out the top six are Peter Politano (237,900), well known tournament and Atlantic City regular Chris Klodnicki (216,100) and Steve Brackesy (213,700).
Also returning tomorrow with above-average stacks are Elias (106,400), Hoyt Corkins (99,000), Jonathan Little (92,500), Kathy Liebert (92,000) and Jason Mercier (90,000).
More notable names still alive include David “Doc” Sands (83k), Allen Kessler (71k), Matt Stout (69k), Dwyte Pilgrim (58k) and Erik Seidel (26k).
Big names busting out today included David Williams, Will “The Thrill” Failla, Tony Dunst, Matt Matros and 2011 WPT Borgata champ Bobby Oboodi.
Play starts up again at noon from Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and will play down at least until the money is reached at 27 players.
Players who make it to the money will earn at least $19,916.
With 189 players registered, first-place will take home $449,910 including a $25k seat in the WPT Championship in April.
