Heineckerragen narrowly edged out French pro Alex “BiatchPeople” Luneau for the top spot while high-stakes regulars Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Sander Berndsen and Ronny Kaiser found themselves among this week’s biggest losers.
A relatively subdued week in the nosebleed games with many players in transit either from the PCA or to the Aussie Millions, the last seven days nonetheless saw a few seriously large pots.
Read on for details on this week’s top 10 online poker winners and losers.
Top 10 Online Poker Winners: Jan. 14-20, 2012
Niklas “ragen70” Heineckerragen posted a very big week, profiting to the tune of $243k and bringing his 2012 total to $619,390.
Heineckerragen was second on last week’s list with $250,000 in profit.
Most of ragen70’s windfall this week came thanks to a massive session against Sander "Berndsen12" Berndsen yesterday.
The two battled heads-up at $100/$200 No-Limit Hold’em with Berndsen taking a big six-figure beating.
Second on the winner’s list is French pro Alex “BiatchPeople” Luneau who posted an enormous win in a game not usually known for high-stakes online action.
Luneau pulled in $150,000 during a single session of $500/$1,000 2-7 Triple Draw on Tuesday against a tough lineup including RaiseOnce, the account believed to be Phil Ivey, and Rami “Arbianight” Boukai.
Also faring well and posting six-figure wins were Patrik Antonius on his Fake Love888 account, Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond, Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen and Davin “mTw-DaviN” Georgi

Top 10 Online Poker Losers: Jan. 14-20, 2012
The most commonly mentioned name in 2012 high-stakes reports has been Sander “Berndsen12” Berndsen but unfortunately today he’s being mentioned for dumping more than half a million dollars on the nosebleed tables this week.
Berndsen played over 12,000 hands this week but lost a total of $558,000. Luckily for him a very strong start to the year still has him up $313,400 so far in 2012.
Berndsen joins true poker superstars Phil Ivey, who is thought to be playing as RaiseOnce on Stars, and Viktor “Isildur1” Blom on this week’s loser’s list.
Ivey is down $101k so far in 2012 but has lost a total of $304,000 since the account was created in November of 2011.
Isildur1 had a very small losing week by his standards, donating just under $90k to the games, while Rami “arbianight” Boukai said goodbye to roughly $75,000.
