Soshnikov, who won the EPT Prague High Roller last fall, defeated the UK's Peter "Se7enTr3y" Akery heads-up after a three-way deal with Akery and unknown player Better C4ll.
Also making the final table and collecting six-figure scores from the two-day finale to the biggest online poker series in the world were Swede Martin "M.nosbocaJ" Jacobson and Canadian Ben "NeverScaredB" Wilinofsky.
Wilinofsky Not Scared, Pays Price
Wilinofsky in particular made a big impact on the final result as he turned down a deal when he was third in chips six-handed.
Se7enTr3y: deal anyone? NeverScaredB: I think my balls might be too big to make a deal NeverScaredB: lemme check Grindation: ill look NeverScaredB: yup, still gigantic Se7enTr3y: lmao Se7enTr3y: dont even want a look never? NeverScaredB: not at the moment Se7enTr3y: alright Grindation: mans got heart
Unfortunately for Wilinofsky he was the next one to go, losing a succession of hands and busting in sixth. The complete final-table results and payouts:
