The German outlasted 335 players to win SCOOP 33-H $2,100 PLO (Turbo, Zoom) last night for $129,645.

It was Danzer’s fourth SCOOP title.

Danzer had to beat a stacked final table that included Canadian whiz Russell “rdcrsn” Carson, Davin “mTw-DaviN” Georgi and Dan “djk123” Kelly.

Carson proved to have the most staying power but finally ended up bowing in fourth place for $55,275.

Danzer has an exceptional record in SCOOP and has won multiple leaderboards in past series. He’s currently ranked sixth in this year’s SCOOP with 365 points.

He is now tied for second all-time in SCOOP victories with Calvin “cal42688” Anderson. Only Shaun Deeb has five SCOOP titles.

Check out the following interview to learn why Danzer owns online tournament series

David “Gunslinger” Bach Takes Third SCOOP

George Danzer wasn’t the only poker player to add yet another SCOOP title over the last couple days.

David “Gunslinger” Bach outlasted 85 players to win SCOOP 28-H $2,000 FL Triple Draw 2-7 for $39,425. It marked Bach’s third win in SCOOP.

While not exactly the $1.2 million he took down for winning the $50k HORSE event at the WSOP in 2009, it did boost Bach to a three-way tie for seventh place on this year’s SCOOP leaderboard with 350 points.

The victory was particularly impressive considering Bach had to beat Shawn Buchanan heads-up to earn the title (although there was a deal in place).

Buchanan was actually competing for his fourth SCOOP title so he’s obviously no slouch in online tournaments.

Luke “FullFlush” Schwartz also won a SCOOP title in 29-H $2,100 FL Hold’em on Tuesday.
