Usually the Party Poker Sunday Major tips the scales at $200,000 guaranteed but this week the site is boosting that GTD to half a million with $100,000 dedicated to the winner.
Party Poker players can buy in directly for $200 or take advantage of a wide variety of qualifying options.
$5 Mega Satellite to Award 100 Seats
One option is the $5 Mega Satellite, which takes place just before the $500k tournament at 16:30 CET. The Mega Satellite will award 100 seats into the massive event.
The winner of the Mega Satellite could potentially parlay $5 into over $100,000.
New depositors on Party Poker also receive five $1 qualifier tickets for the $500k-GTD Major, which they can use for any satellite to the event.
In addition any of the players who buy in directly for $200 have a chance to earn $500 in bonus cash. Starting May 12 those bonuses can be unlocked at the rate of $50 for every 250 player points generated on Party Poker.
