Seiver only had to outlast 50 players to win SCOOP Event 13H $2,100 Single Draw 2-7 but had to overcome one hell of a final table that included Phil Galfond and Mike Watson.
It was actually underrated Austrian Tobias “H.Oussale” Wenker who controlled much of the action, busting Galfond and Watson, but he simply couldn’t get past Seiver.
Seiver, who plays on PokerStars as gunning4you, overcame a chip deficit to beat Wenker and claim his first SCOOP title.
It’s been a nice couple months for Seiver who finished runner-up in the EPT Grand Final €25k High Roller for €857,637 last month.
Back-to-Back Bach, Jungleman12 Final Four
Yesterday was a particularly star-studded day of action in SCOOP with both David Bach and Dan “Jungleman12” Cates making deep runs.
Bach made back-to-back final tables, a feat he’s accomplished at the WSOP but never in COOP, eventually finishing 7th in SCOOP 13-M $215 Single Draw 2-7 for $1,470.
Meanwhile Cates is still alive in the two-day SCOOP 14-H $2,100 PLO Heads-Up with hundreds of thousands up for grabs.
The Jungleman made the final four, along with LEXAR1986, xxMatSon and d2themfi. One of them will emerge the ultimate winner later today.
It’s been an exciting SCOOP thus far with big scores from Elio Fox, Sorel Mizzi, Nacho Barbero, Scott Clements and Kevin MacPhee.
There’s still plenty of action left, however. to learn more or get in the action be sure to visit our PokerStars review.
