Blom was the biggest winner last week as players like Carloo13 fell back to earth.
Mikael Thuritz, Patrik Antonius, and Ronny Kaiser also bagged more than $200,000.
Carloo13 is one of these players that take a shot at higher limits and then stay if they succeed. Viktor Blom ended this success last week, though.
They were playing Carloo’s favourite game – FL Omaha 08 – and Blom tore the novice apart.
The limits were $1k/$2k and later even $2k/$4k. Blom took $800k off Carloo13 and probably drove him away from the nosebleed levels for a while.
However, Blom lost $500k of his profit back to other players, so his downswing hasn’t really ended yet.
Antonius Continues to Ascend Online Charts
Things couldn’t get much better for Patrik Antonius, on the other hand. Last week, the Finn won another $200k, and in the leaderboard, he is slowly closing in on Niklas Heinecker.
Heinecker has not been that active recently. He shows up only when there are big 2-7 games or if Paul MalACEsia Phua is at the NLHE tables.
That actually happened last week, so it is no surprise that the biggest pot of the week played out at one of them.
The blinds were $400/$800, and circling Paul Phua were five regulars, gunning for his money.
Call_911 raised UTG to $2400, and proudlikeagoat, Dmitry Rhje Yaskevich, and Niklas Ragen70 Heinecker folded.
MalACEsia reraised from the small blind to $8k, though, and only Call_911 made the call.
On the flop
Phua bet $12k. Call.

However, things went crazy. Phua checked, Call_911 bet out $30k, and Phua shoved with $66k more.
