Blom started 2014 by sprinting to an early $2 million profit in February but he quickly bled it all away and was down several hundred thousand dollars heading into the weekend.
The swingy Scandi turned it all around, however, and was nearly unstoppable in the big PLO, 8-Game and 2-7 games, according to highstakesdb.com.
On Saturday Blom won $450k at the 2-7 tables against ragen70, Gus Hansen and Kagome Kagome. He also added a $211k win against FakeSky at the 8-game tables.

Last night Blom turned his attention to old rival/friend Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond. The pair waged all-out war on the $300/$600 PLO tables and by the time the dust settled Blom had pocketed nearly $1 million from Galfond.
Thanks to his dominant performance this weekend Blom once again finds himself in the black to the tune of about $1 million.
Gus Hansen Wins $450,000
Blom wasn’t the only Full Tilt Professional to turn his came around this weekend.
Gus Hansen, who’s been on the downswing to end all downswings, actually pulled off a $450k win this weekend.
That will take a considerable chunk out of the $1.4 million he’d lost on the site prior to this weekend. He’ll need a few more sessions like that, however, to put a dent in the -$16 million he has accumulated in total on Full Tilt Poker.
Finally over on PokerStars, Norwegian cross-country skier Petter “NorthugJr” Northug continued his strong run on PokerStars since the Olympics by winning $70k. Northug may have a second career all lined up.
