3) Putt Putt Perfection Doc is Putt Putt Perfect
Anyone else on the East Coast grow up watching the Professional Putt Putt tour on Saturday afternoons?
As a 10-year-old who dabbled in a bit of adventure mini-putt (mostly two-week family summer binges in Myrtle Beach) it was basically the equivalent to the early days of the WSOP on ESPN.
Grainy. Slightly mysterious. And full of slightly odd middle-aged white guys. But so utterly captivating you couldn't possibly look away.
As purveyors of the mini-documentary form ourselves we couldn't resist this phenomenal piece of work by illustrator Mickey Duzyj and the team at VictoryJournal.com.
The story: IT manager Rick Baird's legendary round of perfect putt-putt golf, only the third score of 18 in the Professional Putters Association's 50-year history of putt-putt tournament competition.
