1) Hansen Loses Again, Grass Still Green
The HDMS Gus Hansen is going to be at the bottom of the Atlantic unless he can find a way to plug some serious holes ASAP.
Hansen lost another $288,666 on Full Tilt Poker last night playing $2,000/$4,000 2-7 Triple Draw and now sits at nearly -$17 million lifetime on the site.
It appears Hansen took most of the damage to Alexander “PostflopAction” Kostritsyn and taktloss47 according to highstakesdb.com.
It’s starting to get pretty scary for the legendary Full Tilt Poker as he is starting to approach Guy Laliberte territory. Laliberte is rumored to have lost anywhere from $17 to $25 million in the late 2000s.
Moving down in stakes almost seems like a foregone conclusion at this point but Hansen continues to trade blows with some of the best players in the world at the highest stakes.

There have been some fascinating discussions about poker lately and a recent one titled “Are girls bad at poker? If so why?” has us intrigued.
The overwhelming feel from most people who responded was that the reason female poker players don’t more results is that not enough play poker.
There was a slightly more controversial answer from poker player Elliott Chen who wrote that women were easier to bluff.
This passage from former PokerStrategy.com management member Lutz Enke is pretty well said:
With poker, I read that at this year's WSOP, women are just slightly underperforming the field in terms of how many play and how many reach final tables. And even that difference might just come down to: 'women are comparably over-represented in the group of people who play poker recreationally and underrepresented in poker pros'. Means: maybe women are just as good as men in poker, there's just way fewer of them playing it professionally.
