The PokerStars 8th Anniversary Sunday Million will take place March 2 with an $8-million guarantee and a minimum of $650,000 for first place.
As usual satellites for the Sunday Million begin at just $1 through PokerStars’ extensive satellite system.
“Each week the Sunday Million is the tournament that everyone wants to win, with players scheduling their weekends around it,” said Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree.
“The Anniversary tournament is even more unmissable, though, because it’s not often you can win enough money playing online poker for a few hours to buy a house.”
It’s life-changing money and last year Lithuanian online player benislovas won the 7th Anniversary edition for $848,589 in one of the biggest online poker paydays ever. Technically a three-way deal was struck that saw each of the top three players take down more than $800k each.
