New Jersey Reports $8.4m in Online Gambling Revenue in 2013

According to a report issued today by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement just under $8.4 million in revenue has been earned in the first few weeks of legalized online gambling in New Jersey.

Including the five-day, soft-play test launch at the end of November the six officially sanctioned online sites in the state have taken in exactly $8,368,837 and paid $1,255,723 in Internet Gross Revenue taxes at 15%.

Per casino the breakdown for the year is:

Borgata (PartyPoker)  $3,750,174 Caesars Interactive NJ (WSOP.com) $2,380,178 Golden Nugget $179,120 Tropicana $748,589 Trump Plaza $427,739 Trump Taj Mahal $883,037

Online poker accounted for $3.2 million or 38% of overall revenue.

Previous reports have indicated over 150,000 online accounts have already been created at New Jersey online casinos.
