Got a tip for a future 3-Bet? Drop a note in the comments and we'll take a look.

Today in the 3-Bet we find Doyle Brunson as seen by artist Jonas Wood, Dan "Jungleman12" Cates loses his shirt and Magnus Carlsen celebrates his World Chess title with an all-night poker session.

1) Doyle Brunson, if he was in Waking Life

We've seen a lot of likenesses of Doyle Brunson over the years but none quite like this one from artist Jonas Wood.

A Boston-born artist now living in Los Angeles, Wood had a show at the Anton Kern Gallery in New York recently that surprisingly featured this portrait of the Godfather of poker.

Reminds us a bit of Waking Life, if you remember that film from 2001. More from Wood here and here. And seriously, if you don't buy his Manute Bol/Muggsy Bogues masterpiece we will.

2) Cates Loses Shirt in Montreal, Premier League Rolling

Having been to Montreal several times we're quite familiar with topless behavior breaking out in the wee hours.

Rarely did it involve sub-zero temperatures, though, and never did it involve Dan "Jungleman12" Cates. Which, after seeing this pic, we're fairly thankful for.

#PremierLeague comes with more than just gambling on the felt. @PhilLaak and @junglemandan vs Canadian cold! pic.twitter.com/DkTXHVqAoA

In town for the Party Poker Premier League Cates and noted gambit taker Phil Laak appear to have had some sort of freezeout on the city streets. By the looks of it Cates both won and lost, depending on your perspective.

Meanwhile at the tables they've played five heats with one more to go before four finalists and the semi-final playoff contestants are named.

Dan Colman, Sorel Mizzi, Jeff Gross and Jason Koon seem set to advance while Cates and Laak will likely have to play their way to the final six. More info on the ongoing heats/standings here.

You're 22 years old. You've just dethroned the world's #1 player to secure your first-ever World Chess Championship. Chess legend Garry Kasparov has crowned you "the new king."

How do you celebrate? If you're Magnus Carlsen, apparently, it ends up with an all-night poker party. Or at least we think it does, given our cursory knowledge of Norwegian and limited Google translate skills.

The brilliant Carlsen, who we've noted to be a poker hobbyist, could think of nothing he'd rather do to unwind after his victory than play poker, his manager told a Norwegian TV station:

"They played poker until six o'clock this morning," Espen Adestein told Norwegian TV2. "It was the way he wanted to celebrate the victory."

Carlsen also found his way into the hotel pool fully clothed (see above). More on the amazing Carlsen (in Norwegian) here.
