Schwartz overcame a massive chip deficit to beat a previously dominant Ludovic Lacay in the final heads-up match of Event 6 €3,250 Pot-Limit Omaha Mix Max Event for €104,580.
Just a few days ago Schwartz finished fourth in the Event 5 €5,300 No-Limit Hold’em Mix Max for €62,770. In addition this summer Schwartz finished second in a $1,500 WSOP PLO event, after having a significant lead heads-up.
“This is a great feeling,” said Schwartz. “It’s surreal because earlier this year I was 5-1 and lost but this time I came back from 2-1.”

Despite a long, successful career in poker that includes more than $3.6 million lifetime tournament earnings, this was Schwartz’ first WSOP bracelet.
Earlier in the day Schwartz easily cruised past Jyri Merivirta to win his first heads-up match of the day.
Lacay beat Vitaly Lunkin to secure his spot in the final heads-up match against Schwartz. Lacay would have become the third French player to win a bracelet in the 2013 WSOPE.
With the victory Schwartz got 2/3 of the way to the unofficial Triple Crown in poker, which includes EPT, WPT and WSOP titles. Schwartz has WPT and WSOP titles.
