The kickoff event for EPT 10, the SHR drew a tough field and 51 total entries (including re-buys) with the bulk of that prize pool -- €771,300 -- going home with Lunkin.

One of the more understated high-stakes pros, Lunkin's results are anything but with two WSOP bracelets to his credit and now almost $5.5 million in career live earnings.

Seidel, one of the most successful poker players of all time, pocketed another €557,100 for his runner-up finish. His career total now tops $18.4 million

Short Day for Chip Leader Ole "wizowizo" Schemion

The day started with plenty of potential for poker whiz kid Ole Schemion but ended much quicker than he hoped. A 2013 PokerListings Spirit of Poker nominee, Schemion came into the final eight with the lead but was gone in sixth in less than two hours.

His end came finally when Steve O'Dwyer and his aces snapped off his shove with fours.

Erik Seidel
Seidel: Keeps on crushing.

O'Dwyer, with a great track record in European events, used Schemion's stack well to help himself finish third overall.

Mike "Timex" McDonald, Nov. Niner David Benefield and German Fabian Quoss also cashed while Timothy Adams was the unfortunate bubble boy in eighth.

Seidel entered heads-up with a small chip advantage but the long battle turned in Lunkin's favor after a big double-up with kings.
