Blom cut a path of destruction through the big Cap NLHE and FLO8 games, taking hundreds of thousands from the likes of Isaac Haxton, Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius.
The Swede started his run by slaying Haxton for $150,000 in $500/$1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Cap, according to highstakesdb.com.
From there Blom turned his attention to the ridiculously tough FLO8 $2,000/$4,000 game that was running.
Isildur1 Beats Big-Name Pros Haxton, Ivey, Antonius
The $2k/$4k FLO8 game included Phil “Polarizing” Ivey, Gus Hansen, Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius and Kyle “KPR16” Ray at various times.
In the end it didn’t matter who was playing, as Blom was simply better. He left the table with $423k in profit.
Blom wasn’t done, however, as he went on to beat Ivey heads-up, Haxton for another $110k and KPR16 for $24k.
Finally Blom finished his epic session by taking $70k from SallyWoo at $2k/$4k FLO8.
After peaking at $2 million in profit in the first week of July, then losing pretty much all of it, Isildur1 is once again closing in on $2 million in profit for the month.
