Brummelhuis started his career playing small limit hold'em games online a long time ago and over the years moved up to become one of the top 15 all-time tournament money winners from the Netherlands.
The only Dutch player at the table, Brummelhuis enters the final table seventh in chips with 11,275,000.
His biggest online cash was $144k for taking down a $1k WCOOP event on PokerStars.
Cashes dating back to 2007 including the Master Classics of Poker €1k in 2008 for €68,310 and making the $10k Limit Hold'em final table at the 2009 WSOP.
He also was part of Team Hotels.nl, a group of young Dutch players who were sponsored for EPT Season 4.
Brummelhuis is best known to North American poker fans for running a huge bluff against William Reynolds at the 2011 PCA.
This is Brummelhuis's first WSOP since 2009 when cashed five times.
