In a tournament where the buy-in is $111,111 the bubble is always going to be huge and that was certainly the case in the 2013 One Drop.

The former WPT World Championship winner busted 25th and lost his entire $111,111 buy-in while the remaining 24 players will each pick up at least $173,723.

Glantz Busts Timoshenko, Esfandiari Still Alive

Could Antonio Esfandiari repeat?

Perhaps even more frustrating for Timoshenko is the fact that he got it in good in his final hand.

Timoshenko moved all-in on a flop of T 5 3 while holding A A. East coast pro Matt Glantz decided to make the call with Q 4 for the flush draw.

Unfortunately for Timoshenko the flush hit on the turn with the 6 and the board finished with a meaningless K.

Timoshenko took the beat well and shook a few players hands, wished everyone luck, and headed for the exit.

Meanwhile Glantz rocketed to the overall chip lead with 4,500,000. Interestingly Antonio Esfandiari, who won last year’s One Drop event for $18 million, was still alive with 1.8 million chips.

“One more time!” Esfandiari shouted as play resumed with 24 players. Follow One Drop live on PokerListings here.
