Wilinofsky, Karamalikis Soar in $5k Six-Max at WSOP APAC

2011 EPT Berlin champ Ben “NeverScaredB” Wilinofsky is the chosen one this time as he finished on a mega 160,400-chip stack for the overall lead heading into Day 2 tomorrow.

A couple spots back of him at 149,350 is none other than local favorite Jonathan Karamilikis, who already has himself a runner-up finish in Event #1 for $130,743.

With around 170 entrants this one was packed again with big names including Phil Hellmuth, Dan Kelly, Antonio Esfandiari, Greg Merson, Joe Cheong, Marvin Rettenmaier and more.

Two notables not to play?

Other notable names to finish strong in Event 4 were Aussies Sam Higgs (151,525) and Daniel Neilson (105,175), Brit Ashley Mason (104,000), Brendon Rubie (66,200), JC Tran (61,075), Bertrand Grospellier (40,425) and Jean-Robert Bellande (38,725).
