The 21-year-old student from Frankenberg earns his first EPT cash in 10 tries and his largest live tournament cash ever.
Despite starting the day with the chip lead and having a fairly trouble-free route to get heads-up, it wasn’t easy for Finger to wrap things up against the 32-year-old Boyaciyan, a banker from the Netherlands.
A two-way deal at the start of heads-up with €100,000 left on the table assured both players a big payday, but neither wanted to give up the title easily.
The back-and-forth heads-up match lasted three-and-a-half hours, in fact, and Boyaciyan even ground his way back to the chip lead.
Shortly after however, Finger forced Boyaciyan out of a big pot on the turn to swing the tables back his way.
It was over a few hands later when Finger's AK hit two kings on the flop to outrace Boyaciyan's pocket tens.
Thanks to the deal, Boyaciyan still earned €535,000 for his second-place finish.
The runner-up finish caps an impressive few weeks for Boyaciyan who also won the Amsterdam Master Classics last month for €382,200.
Levi Breaks, But Holds on for Third
Winamax pro Nicolas Levi, who came into the final-table right on Finger’s heels in the chip counts and was the favorite to take home the title, ran into trouble early when his two pair ran into Boyaciyan's top set in a huge pot to tip the scales against him.
Boyaciyan took his place alongside Finger with the chip lead and cruised to the final while Levi never fully recovered before busting out in third.
