According to the official schedule that was released today the Main Event will begin July 9 and run nine days with play being halted when the final table is set on July 15.

The 2013 WSOP will also feature the first-ever guaranteed event as the one of the opening events, a $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em tournament, will offer a $1 million-guaranteed first-place prize. Organizers are dubbing it the Millionaire Maker.

“Dreams are dealt each year at the World Series of Poker,” said Ty Stewart, Exec. Director of the WSOP.

“From the opening weekend, where we will make yet another millionaire, to the Main Event, which awards the largest single prize in the world, the WSOP is an annual affirmation about the strength and global appeal of the game.”

2013 Schedule Includes $111,111, $1,111 Buy-in One Drop Events

There's no Big One on the 2013 schedule.

Although there is no $1 million buy-in tournament on this year’s schedule, charity One Drop will nonetheless have a presence.

This year there will be two One Drop tournaments, one with an $111k buy-in and the other a more manageable $1,111, known as the Little One for Big Drop.

In an unusual twist the WSOP has decided to officially permit men in the Ladies Event on June 28. The only caveat is that they must pay $10,000 instead of the standard $1,000.

The physical layout of the WSOP will remain largely unchanged from last year with the massive Pavilion, Amazon and Brasilia ballrooms all dedicated to poker.

You can view the complete 2013 schedule below. Here are more highlights:
