Any suggestions for a future 3-Bet, feel free to drop a note in the comment.

Today in the 3-Bet we find Erick Lindgren using rehab to improve his gamble, Viktor Blom on a $2.4 million heater that's pulled him even on Full Tilt Poker and Shaun Deeb getting reeled in by some Dane Cook poker baiting.

1) Lindgren Talks Rehab, Bankruptcy with Bluff

In a new exclusive interview with Bluff magazine, Erick “EDog” Lindgren has opened up about his now very-visible gambling debts and his rocky road since Black Friday.

Erick Lindgren
Says "Ok sorta" to rehab.

Talking with Editor Lance Bradley from rehab in California, Lindgren says he’s gone as deep as $6 million in the hole in one month from sportsbetting and poker and is slowly working his way out from under his mountain of debt.

Lindgren was notably exposed on 2+2 last year for failing to pay back numerous betting debts. He was also singled out by Howard Lederer in the Lederer Files interview for receiving (and keeping) a mistaken $2m transfer on Full Tilt.

Lindgren says he went to rehab to get his life in order for his wife, Erica Schoenberg, and their 1-year-old son. He’s also in the process of filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection. Interestingly, though, he says his end goal isn’t to stop gambling – it’s just to get better at it.

“I don’t want to stop my profession. I just want to get better at it. I want to stay in full control, which means not gambling wildly, not going beyond my bankroll and gambling with other people’s money.

“I want to gamble the right way and do my profession as well as I can.”

It’s a great piece that covers Lindgren’s role in the Full Tilt sale to his current month-to-month lifestyle and plans to move back to Vegas to resume his poker career. Read it here.

2) Viktor Blom Finally Even on Full Tilt Poker

Viktor Blom
Long climb out to the black.

Check that – as of today, the infamous Isildur1 is now UP $200k on Full Tilt Poker, finally recouping all of his losses pre-Black Friday.

One of the best-ever spin-up stories on the old Full Tilt Poker, Blom went on a legendary rush against Tom “durrrr” Dwan late in 2009 to build his bankroll up over $5m.

He then, equally famously, dumped it all back to Brian Hastings (with some help from his CardRunners pals) in about five hours.

Now the biggest winner since Full Tilt Poker re-launched at +$3m, Blom has been on another amazing heater to start 2013.

Starting the year with a $564k trouncing of Alex Kostritsyn, Blom has racked up two $700k+ winning sessions in the last few days.

Thought to be a No-Limit Hold'em specialist, Blom has been dominating games from 2-7 Triple Draw to Omaha 8 and he's made so much, he says, skipping the ongoing PCA where he won the $100k High Roller event last year.

3) Shaun Deeb and Dane Cook Headsup4rollz?

It seems odd to take anything Dane Cook says seriously but the well-known comedian got under the skin of at least a few poker pros with a rare tweet about online poker this weekend:

@danecook as one of the most successful online players you couldn't be more wrong and I'd happily make a wager to prove you wrong

— shaun deeb (@shaundeeb) January 6, 2013

High-stakes pro Justin "BoostedJ" Smith was also reeled in by Cook's bait and offered another large wager to prove him wrong.

Cook of course later claimed he was joking, but as always with his material who can really tell?

We can confim Deeb's claim he's one of the most successful online players ever though - just check out our mini-documentary on him here.
