ElkY Headlines Big-Name Busts
73 players made it to the money only to bust today with Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier headlining the group.
According to his Twitter account ElkY opened a pot and got a call from the small blind. The money went in on a ten-high flop with Grospellier's pocket jacks trailing his opponent's slow-played pocket queens.
Also cashing in this event but falling short of the real money were Team PokerStars Pro Juan Manuel Pastor (113th), recent IveyPoker.com pro sign John Eames (87th) and American pro Shannon Shorr (65th).
Tomorrow will see the field reduced to the final 24 and Friday they'll play down to the final table.
