Jelassi is sitting with over 1.2 million heading into Day 4, enough to edge out tough pros like Chris Brammer and Jeff Sarwer who sit second and third.
Everyone still in has their sights set on the €835,000 first-place prize but they're all also guaranteed a spot in the money.
The bubble broke at 128 with payouts starting at €8,000, but each of the final 55 will get at least €15,000 when they return tomorrow.
Among that group are France's Manuel Bevand (522,000), Norway's Johnny Lodden (456,000), last former EPT-champion standing Roberto Romanello (278,000), WSOP bracelet winner Fabrice Soulier (265,000) and American pro Todd Terry (138,000).
Russian Iosif Beskrovnyy, who held the chip lead for the last two days, survived the day with 601,000.

73 players made it to the money only to bust today with Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier headlining the group.
According to his Twitter account ElkY opened a pot and got a call from the small blind. The money went in on a ten-high flop with Grospellier's pocket jacks trailing his opponent's slow-played pocket queens.
Also cashing in this event but falling short of the real money were Team PokerStars Pro Juan Manuel Pastor (113th), recent IveyPoker.com pro sign John Eames (87th) and American pro Shannon Shorr (65th).
Tomorrow will see the field reduced to the final 24 and Friday they'll play down to the final table.
On Saturday a winner will be crowned and you can get the update in our EPT Poker News section.
