A total of 74 players paid the €10k buy-in and once 10 reloads were added into the equation the prize pool hit €823,200.

The final table was no cakewalk with recent WSOPE Main Event fourth-place finisher Joe Cheong, Swedish pro Joel Nordkvist, Philipp Gruissem and Igor Kurganov all looking to do some damage.

Gruissem and Kurganov bailed early in sixth and seventh respectively while Cheong once again recorded a fourth place finish, this time for €74,100.

Nordkvist entered the final table as the chip lead but eventually hit the rail in third place when he shoved ace-queen into Spindler’s pocket queens.

Spindler, Stammen Play Extended Heads-Up Match

Spindler entered heads-up play with a massive lead on Stammen but the match proved to be a prolonged affair with Stammen grabbing the chip lead before eventually giving it back.

The tournament ended with a bang as Stammen got all-in with pocket sevens but Spindler called him down with none other than pocket aces.

The board gave Stammen nothing and the U.S. pro had to settle for a €200,000 consolation prize.

It’s been a solid week for Stammen as he also won the €2k No-Limit Hold’em Turbo event at PokerStars' EPT San Remo for €92,900.

Here are the complete final table payouts:

1. Benny Spindler – €253,000 2. Keven Stammen – €200,000 3. Joel Nordkvist – €98,500 4. Joseph Cheong – €75,100 5. Kent Roed - €57,600 6. Philipp Gruissem – €41,200 7. Igor Kurganov – €32,900 8. Igor Yaroshevskyy – €24,700
