Today in the 3-Bet we get a closer look at Howard Lederer’s prized real estate, Antonio Esfandiari with a huge mainstream guest spot and Beth Shak’s new business.

1) DOJ Cribs: Howard Lederer Edition
Last week the Federal Government filed an amendment to the complaint against Howard Lederer and the Full Tilt Poker board, this time seeking $137 million.
According to the DOJ Lederer used distributions from Full Tilt to fund his personal accounts, which included a number of vehicles and properties.
Yesterday the Las Vegas Review-Journal profiled several of the houses that were listed in the complaint.
Front and center are two massive houses in the ultra-exclusive Ridges area of Summerlin.
The main house is an 8,892-square-foot behemoth that was constructed by Merlin Contracting for more than $10.5 million. The second house, which was described as a “guesthouse,” is a 4,598-square-foot home in the nearby Skybird Court.
Also listed in the complaint were houses in Southern Highlands, Queensridge and California.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the article was news that Howard Lederer may be conducting an interview soon. Lederer has been silent since Black Friday last year.

2) Antonio Esfandiari Snags Guest Spot on Howard Stern

Poker pro Antonio Esfandiari will make a guest appearance on the Howard Stern radio show according to a Tweet he made yesterday.
Esfandiari became the biggest all-time winner in tournament poker when he won the $1 million buy-in BIG ONE for ONE DROP at the WSOP this summer for $18 million.
Although Esfandiari admitted he didn’t have 100% of himself in the tournament, that hasn’t detracted from the amount of main stream attention he's received.
The “Magician” has been interviewed by a variety of newspapers and radio shows over the last few months.
Esfandiari even took part in a popular Reddit Ask Me Anything Q&A where he talked about what it was like being a professional poker player.
Apparently when Stern heard that a poker player won $18 million in a poker tournament he asked his producer to book him on the show immediately.
Perhaps Esfandiari will finally talk about what percentage he had in the BIG ONE but somehow we doubt it.
3) Beth Shak Releasing Her Own Shoe Line
Professional poker player (and we use that term loosely here) Beth Shak is coming out with her own line of high heels, according to a story with the New York Post.
Beth has already designed and manufactured 25 sample pairs and plans on selling the shoes for $160-$190.
Famously obsessed with shoes, Beth reportedly has over 1,200 pairs worth nearly $1 million. Earlier this year ex-husband Dan Shak sued over her collection of shoes claiming she didn’t disclose their value in the divorce. The case was eventually dropped.
Of course no matter what Beth does in the future, this will always be the way that we remember her.
